Select a region (central, west, east) and search in the box for key terms such as service times (breakfast, brunch...), foods (pizza, chicken...) and dietary restrictions (halal, vegetarian...).
This page is for locally owned, non-chain restaurants located in Kingston, with websites. Local chains are fine (like a restaurant that has a sister in Gan, etc.)
Restaurants with a direct single menu URL have their menu linked (the box after the listing). Some restaurants without a "menu" link have their menu on their home page, or multiple pages for different services.
Please note that some restaurants are now delivery and takeout only, which is not reflected on this page. It's advised to visit the restaurants' websites.
This page only lists restaurants with websites. Restaurants that do not have sites, or only have a web presence on Facebook, etc., are omitted in the spirit of this project. If you are a local non-chain restaurant and you want a simple 'calling card' site with your name, photo, location and a menu (PDF), we will do a site that looks like this for you, for free! Contact hello@theimp.ca.

These restaurants don't have websites; part of this project is to keep everything local and off monopoly platforms, so we are featuring only restaurants that don't rely on Facebook / Instagram / etc. for their web presence. If you're a restaurant and want a free (yes, really) webpage that has your name, location, a few photos and a link to your menu (PDF), email hello@theimp.ca and we'll hook you up. Non-chain, locally owned only. It'll look like this.
